The Professional Side
Dr. Andy Tran is the founder and dentist at Apex Dental Studio, where he has created a welcoming practice built on exceptional care, meaningful relationships, and a commitment to giving back. From a young age, he dreamed of owning a dental office where he could provide personalized treatment, build a fun and supportive team, and make every patient feel valued. Today, that dream has become a reality.
Originally from San Jose, California, Dr. Tran moved to Falmouth, Massachusetts, as a teenager—a journey that explains why he still has a 408 area code! He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, graduating summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in biology on the neuroscience track. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, one of the nation’s leading dental schools.
After experiencing life on both the West and East Coasts, Dr. Tran chose to put down roots in the suburbs of Austin, Texas, where he is proud to serve the local community.
Dedicated to providing the highest quality care, Dr. Tran is a board member of the Central Texas Academy of General Dentistry and is actively involved with the Capital Area Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He is passionate about continuing education and staying current with the latest advances in dentistry to help patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
As part of his comprehensive care, Dr. Trans has a special interest in dental implants, full-mouth restorations, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign®, oral sedation, facial esthetics, and comprehensive restorative dentistry.
The Personal Side
Outside the office, Dr. Tran enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, photography, and relaxing with a favorite Netflix or Hulu series. He looks forward to welcoming every patient to the Apex Dental Studio family.
